WILOTEKT-PLUS (Green)

UNIQUE SECOND GENERATION STRUCTURAL WATERPROOFING (HOT MELT) WITH THERMAL INSULATION ON REINFORCED CONCRETE ROOF DECK WITH LIFETIME PERFORMANCE FOR USE UNDER GREEN ROOFS

WILOTEKT-PLUS comprises a specially blended polymer modified hot melt compound with a 4 mm thick robust protection sheet enabling speedy installation. European Technical Approval ETA-03/0049 applies and NHBC approval for zero degree slope.

Note - The environmental rankings are based on Life Cycle Assessments using BRE's Environmental Profiles Methodology 2008 and refer to the complete system build up including structural elements, thermal insulation, waterproofing and protection.

Roof deck


  • Reinforced concrete laid in accordance with BS 8217:2005.
  • WILOTEKT-PLUS is approved for use on dead flat decks so there is no requirement for a screed-to-falls. If screeds are to be specified then they should be installed in accordance with BS 6229:2003 and be allowed to dry out before laying the WILOTEKT-PLUS system. Lytag based screeds must not be specified.

Insulation


  • Any thermal insulation approved for use on inverted roof waterproofing systems.
  • Suitable for laying under HYDROSHIELD EPS or HYTHERM XPS with a special breather membrane under all green roof systems.

Installation


  • Hot melt fully adhered system.
  • Thermal insulation loose laid with breather membrane rolled on top with sealed laps.
  • Installed by accredited Axtershield Installers.
