ECOFLEX ADH

BBA APPROVED SINGLE PLY FULLY ADHERED, COLD BONDED INSULATED SYSTEM ON REINFORCED CONCRETE ROOF DECK

ECOFLEX ADH is a lightweight, flexible PVC-p synthetic membrane, 1.5 or 1.8 mm thick with an exposed polyester under surface that has been specially designed for widespread use on all roofing projects including domestic, commercial, social and industrial buildings. ECOFLEX ADH contains recycled material and itself can be recycled at the end of its useful life.

PVC-p roof membranes have been in use for more than three decades and are a proven reliable solution for the majority of flat and low slope exposed roofs.

Applications


  • A tried and tested roofing system using a modern self adhesive vapour control layer with cold adhesives for the thermal insulation and the final PVC-p cap sheet.
  • Suitable for use as a single ply fully adhered system on insulated concrete, timber and metal decks.
  • Suitable for use on new build or renovation projects.

Performance


  • A minimum 25 year design life expectancy (BBA Certificate no. 12/4947).
  • High strength and mechanical characteristics.
  • Low temperature flexibility.
  • Quick no-flame installation.

Roof deck


  • Reinforced concrete laid in accordance with BS 8217:2005.
  • Axter does not recommend the use of screeds to create falls, preferring instead the use of tapered thermal insulation. If screeds are to be specified then they should be installed in accordance with BS 6229:2003 and be allowed to dry out before laying any insulation or roof membranes.

Insulation


  • Suitable for laying over a range of thermal insulation options including HYTHERM ADH and HYTHERM high density EPS flat and tapered boards.

Surface options


  • ECOFLEX ADH is a self-protected membrane in a choice of colours.

Installation


  • Fully adhered self adhesive vapour control layer.
  • Thermal insulation attachment with cold applied adhesive.
  • Cold bonded cap sheet with hot air welded laps.
  • Installed by trained, card carrying operatives.
